I’ve been coming here for a little over two years and have always had a great experience. They’re kind, speedy and do fantastic cuts on doodles. It can sometimes be a wait, but just get on the list and they’ll call you when a spot opens. It’s totally worth it!

We took Dee, our 8 year old Chihuahua, to Best Friends to be groomed yesterday. We asked for a “Mohawk” type groom and they called over the master groomer to help us decide what we wanted exactly. They knocked it out of the park. Dee looks fantastic!!! And she was happy and wasn’t anxious and scared afterwards, like when we usually take her to get groomed at other places. We’ll definitely use them from now on!

I remember when I was about 4 or 5 years old and my mom and I would drop off all our puppies and they would always come back smelling so yummy with cute little bows in their fur, SO CUTE! I just got my own dog and and starting to bring him here. very personable and friendly staff. they could trim our Pomeranians nails without him even making a fuss when he would normally run for cover.

Wonderful staff. They did an amazing job with my dog Loki, who had bad experiences at different groomers in the past. Loki is getting older and has gone deaf, but everyone here was gentle and kind with him. We're definitely going back.

I've been taking my 2 dogs to Best Friends for about 8 years and have nothing but praises for their service and expertise. I'm extremely picky about the way my dogs are groomed and each one has entirely different needs and appearance. No detail goes unattended to and, even though I'm a long-standing customer, they still confirm all of the details every single visit. Alexa, the owner, personally does the grooming on my request and works along side her staff in a very compatible manner. While it's true that she has a rather low-key personality, over time you will find that she's a very pleasant, sincerely honest businesswoman. Please do not judge her on first impressions. This grooming salon does an outstanding job.

We are from out of town, an extended stay in Bellevue. Our dog Charley, a combination Maltese and Lhasa also, badly needed grooming. We took a chance on Best Friends based on reviews. Very glad we did. He came out very nicely groomed, with a chic bandana. Only negative was it took a long time. We dropped him off at 9 and he was done after 2.

Groomer was nice and was very receptive to my inspiration pictures. My only wish would be the back legs to have been less uneven, paws to be trimmed, and cleaned up and softer blending for cat grooming for $150. Otherwise content with service.

Had an appointment for 11:00 am. Grabbed food next door, I stopped by 12:30 to see if my cat’s appointment had started, it hadn’t. Poor cat was sitting in carrier, I even called prior to appointment to see if they were ready for us.

My daughter recommended this salon to me, she is a regular there and takes her dog Bella. I recently moved to her area so I decided to take my cat Lola there. I usually do not take her to groomers because she is grumpy and known to scratch but they were able to handle her perfectly. I’m so happy with their service and the results. Do not bring your dog here!! Very disappointed. My dog did not even look groomed. Her paw was cut and they never mentioned anything to me. She came out wet?!? What was she doing from 9am- 2:30pm??? We will not be back!

I have nothing but positive things to say. I had a really bad experience at PetSmart today. They totally botched my dog’s haircut. I called Best Friends Grooming, totally in tears and upset. The two ladies who were working today were amazing. They were willing to work with me to get my dog in today because I have a very tight schedule with Work. I think she did an amazing job working considering what she had to work with. To no fault of best friends grooming, Only PetSmart, I really do not like this haircut. I really appreciate how they were able to fix it so I can look at my dog Without crying. In the future, when a groom is needed, this will be the only place I go to. Hair grows back, my dog just looks kind of goofy.. Kindness goes a really long way. I really appreciate the staff that was working today.

My dog absolutely dislikes nail trims, and the groomer trimmed all his nails so efficiently and professionally. My dog was well taken care of and clean after the wash. We'll be going back again!

If you're looking for a local dog salon in Washington then Best Friends Grooming Salon is the best. They are very professional and caring. Staff is great and always friendly. You can get appointments easily, they are extremely accommodating. Best grooming place, our 2 sweet dogs love it, their groomer is so good with them. We would always recommend this place they are all about your dog and taking care of your dog.

It's in the details!! It was our first time at this salon, since we haven't lived in WA for all that long, but we've been to lots of grooming appointments with our dogs over the years. Best Friends really has their service down. They are efficient, but caring. Our dog, pictured here, is a 14.5 y.o. Portuguese Water Dog with a thick wavy coat that needs grooming every 6-8 weeks.

He's in very poor health (sore joints, deaf, and some neurological issues), but they handled him with patience and kindness. The groomer was observant and responsive to his pain or discomfort. They even scheduled him for early check-in and quick turnaround so that his stress level would be lower. On top of all that, his cut looks great!! It's even all over, which is amazing because I'm sure he layed down most of the time.
